Project Description:
FHI 360/Philippines (www.fhi360.org) through Better Health Programme (BHP) is a 3.5-year project funded by the UK Government’s Prosperity Fund aims to reduce Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) burden in the Philippines and improve access to safe, quality care using equitable, ethical and sustainable approaches. The program will accomplish this through the implementation of a set of activities in the following areas: 1) Strategies to Counter NCDs; 2) Digital Health initiatives; 3) Education and Training; 4) Provider Performance Improvement; and 5) Life Sciences initiatives.
Job Description / Scope of Work for Short-Term:
1. *Site Administration Technical Support***
Provide daily monitoring of the activities of a pilot portal on non-communicable diseases. Specifically, this will involve:
a. Updating/uploading and populating the content of the portal (text, images, and other media assets) from provided content
b. Adding/updating/deleting sections on the portal, as needed
c. Performing minor portal front-end updates (limited to what on what the CMS can provision in terms of front-end updates)
d. Monitoring the portal and providing reporting support (limited to what the CMS can provision in terms of portal usage tracking)
e. Handling inquiries and technical issues raised relating to the NCD portal
2. *Graphic and Video Production Support*** a. Design presentations and communication materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs such as Adobe’s Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
b. Create graphic materials that incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications
c. Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image
d. Produce drafts for review and make revisions based on the feedback received
Education and Required Job Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, training, adult education, and/or multimedia training materials development
- At least 5 years of experience in website development and maintenance
- At least 3 years of experience with HTML and audio and video editing software
· Experience with a Learning Management System as a developer or administrator (preferred)
· Previous multimedia sample work
Required Skills:
· Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively handle multiple tasks and competing priorities, as well as meet deadlines
Supervision and Reporting
The position will be under and reporting to the BHP Project Director
