About: Action against Hunger

Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :

Under the supervision of the Nutrition and Health Support Project Manager, your missions will be very varied and educational.
Your main tasks will be:
Mission 1: Participate in monitoring the nutrition/health context and the activity of partners
– Monitor regional literature on the points of interest in the files monitored by the Project Manager (CP) and participate in the writing of thematic notes;
-Monitor the activities of ACF operational partners and share information;
-In coordination with the CT and the CP, share the reports and key elements which will feed the context monitoring for the France mission;
Mission 2: Contribute to the implementation of support activities with partners
-Contribute to the planning, setting up and monitoring of operational partnerships;
-Contribute to diagnostic, monitoring and evaluation activities as part of the support provided by ACF to partners; notably through the development of monitoring and evaluation tools (e.g. qualitative and quantitative questionnaires), the collection of data through the conduct of field surveys and their analysis, the writing of reports and the formulation of recommendations.
-Support the CP in the preparation of external meetings, working groups, steering committee, work reports and any other operational version of the support provided to partners;
-Ensure the writing of reports and their distribution, as well as any other useful tool and document upon validation of the CP
Mission 3: Participate in the mobilization and coordination of volunteers
-Jointly with the CT assistant and the CP, identify mobilization needs with a view to deploying a survey for example;
-Organize, in coordination with the CP and the CT assistant, key times for mobilizing volunteers (briefings, training, debriefing, etc.) in line with the objectives of the proposed volunteer missions;
-Organize the supervision and coordination of volunteers during the deployment of activities.
Mission 4: Contribute to the monitoring of activities and team life
-Collect the information necessary for monitoring projects and consolidate program monitoring indicators;
-Archive the documentation in accordance with the requests of the project manager;
-Participate in monthly team meetings as well as thematic working hours.

Profile :

Currently in Master 1 or 2, preferably in development/humanitarian, international relations, political science, human sciences, human nutrition,
you have developed project management skills and have strong analytical and synthesis skills.
Furthermore, you are recognized for your writing skills and your mastery in collecting, analyzing and managing data on Excel.
In addition, you demonstrate very good interpersonal skills and fluency in speaking in public. You are recognized for your responsiveness, your rigor and your flexibility.
Finally, you share the values ​​of Action Against Hunger and demonstrate a strong interest in the activities and principles defended by the France mission. Professional or volunteer experience/associative involvement with populations in precarious situations and/or exiles will be highly appreciated.
The B license is a plus.

Terms of employment

?Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a French educational establishment
??Duration of the Internship: 6 months
??Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
?Salary Conditions:
Internship compensated up to the minimum hourly bonus legal (on a basis of 35 hours per week)
21 days of RTT (prorated to the time spent in the organization)
Days of absence for exams, university research, etc.
Transport: 50% of the package covered between home and the workplace
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8euros
175euros/year (social works) and reduction on travel tickets cinema
??Teleworking: Open to all and from the mainland territory, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring an imperative presence time at the headquarters of the association, and allows you to choose to exercise fully or partly the rest of this time teleworking. To this end, a mandatory presence at headquarters of 12 days per month has been defined for this position. Presence time at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events and 2 days of compulsory presence for the first 6 weeks when you join the team.
