Focus on the Emergency Operational Development and Partnerships Department

The Operational Development and Partnerships Emergency Department is made up of 7 people. The mission of its members is to enable PUI to propose major developments in its methods of intervention, with the essential mission of ensuring the development of Première Urgence Internationale’s humanitarian activities.

And the Emergency Department and Operational Development and Partnerships Assistant in all this?

Under the responsibility of the Emergency Managers, and in support of the Emergency and Operational Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the service (a Service Manager, two Emergency Managers, a private partnership manager, a Management Controller, a Logistics Manager, an HR Manager, a Health Representative) in the development, implementation and operational monitoring on the ground of PUI programs.

You will particularly contribute to the capitalization of geopolitical and contextual information, the development of project proposals, the preparation of field missions as well as the development of the organization’s interventions in new areas and in contexts. humanitarian emergencies. The geographies and contexts in which the SUDOP assistant will work are likely to evolve and change during the internship depending on the evolution of humanitarian crises and emergencies.

What you’ll need to land this internship

  • An Agreement issued by your training organization! : As such, you can justify, or are in the process of obtaining, a higher diploma (Master 2 or equivalent) in a field linked to humanitarian action: project management, Social Sciences, Political Sciences.
  • Experience: Experience working in a team, in an associative environment and/or internationally, will be valued.
  • Skills: You have very good writing skills in French and English, and are proficient in computers (Word and Excel).
  • Required qualities: You demonstrate autonomy, curiosity, versatility, organization, and are proactive. You have good adaptability and a sense of support.
  • Languages: French and English hold no secrets for you? So much the better, these are two essential languages ​​for this internship!

PUI will offer you

  • Bonus: €4.90/hour
  • Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €10)
  • Rest : 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
