A major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross manages a network of more than 600 establishments and services in the health, medico-social and training sectors.


Within the Human Relations Department of Engagement, and more specifically within the international HR team supporting the international operations of the French Red Cross, the international human resources manager is responsible for HR support and support regional intervention platforms (PIR) of the International Operations Directorate of the French Red Cross, as well as the coordination of international administrative management.

He is responsible for deploying, leading and guaranteeing the human resources policy and related procedures of the French Red Cross within his scope as well as providing his HR expertise to operational staff.

More specifically, within its scope, the international HR will be in charge of:

  • Analyze and anticipate HR needs, in line with the operational strategy of the missions, and provide advisory support in HR planning and management;
  • Support and advise management in HR management;
  • Accompany and support admin/HR coordinators in operational management;
  • Coordinate and supervise the administrative management of the international human resources department;
  • Actively participate in other missions: cross-functional HR projects, leading preparation for departures, representation in recruitment forums, etc.

Practical information related to the position

Position based at the Head Office in Montrouge, at 21 rue de la Vanne.

With a Bac +5 training in human resources, you have significant experience in human resources management and administrative management in the international solidarity sector, with preferably at least 2 years of experience in headquarters.

Are you rigorous and organized? However, do you know how to adapt and be flexible? Autonomous and proactive, you nevertheless enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team? Do you master the particularities of expatriate human resources management in the international solidarity sector?
