We are one of the largest development and humanitarian aid organizations in the world that was born in 1937 in Spain. Without political, religious or governmental affiliation, we work for a just world that promotes children’s rights and equality for girls. We promote change in social norms and public policies at the local, national and global levels through our reach, experience and knowledge.

In Ecuador, we have been present since 1962. Our projects are implemented in twelve provinces of the country and focus on various areas such as education, entrepreneurship, sexual and reproductive rights, early childhood, risk management, citizen participation, leadership and child protection .

We work with girls and boys in the development of their abilities from birth until they reach adulthood. In addition, we contribute to communities to be prepared, respond to the crisis and overcome adversity. Our work has allowed us to show that when girls have the necessary tools, they become the protagonists of their lives and support their families and communities to move forward. We want an Ecuador with zero tolerance for discrimination and inequality towards girls.
