JOB DESCRIPTION
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organization that helps people forced to flee.
We work on crises across 31 countries, providing emergency and long-term assistance to millions of people each year. We assist people forced to flee by defending their rights.
NORCAP, our expert deployment capability, helps improve international and local capacity to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from crises. NRC also manages the internal displacement monitoring center in Geneva, a global leader in reporting and advocacy for internally displaced people.
An employment contract with NRC may result in you being employed – or deployed, in regions, countries, zones or offices in which significant health, safety and security risks exist. This is an aspect that NRC takes very seriously and procedures are in place to reduce the taking of known risks, without however being able to completely eliminate them.
NRC is an equal opportunities employer and aims to have a diverse workforce in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, nationality and physical ability.
