Doctors of the World, a militant medical association of international solidarity, has been committed for 40 years to caring for the most vulnerable populations here and abroad, to bear witness to the barriers that are identified regarding access to health care and obtain sustainable improvements in health policies for all.

As an independent association, we act beyond health care, denouncing violations of dignity and human rights and working to improve the situation of populations that are in precarious situations.

Both in France and in 30 countries internationally, our actions aim to facilitate access to health, through 6 priority fights:

  • Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR)
  • Rights and health of migrants in exile
  • Risk reduction
  • Environmental health
  • Health systems
  • Humanitarian spaces
